Kilen,

We’re in the process of wrapping up our yearly Pallad City Community Report – Statistics on Crime, Policing, and Violence for next week’s story. We should include a disclaimer that statistics were gathered from every district in Pallad City with the exception of Kurtow. We’ll run the usual “this report omits any statistics from the Kurtow District due to restricted access and lack of conclusive data”.

I know Grine’s been talking about getting someone into Kurtow for years, but I’ll quit the Pallad City Post before setting foot in that mess. Let him send a new hire for the assignment—and, even then, they’d have to be short a few marbles to agree to it. The violence in the “functioning” districts of this city’s skyrocketing, I can only imagine what the hell it’s like over there!
