This morning we were told that the Hyper Cycle project will cease development, effective immediately. They will be mothballing the GunRiot. Truly a waste. We were given no official reason why but, from what I hear, mass-producing the vehicle was deemed “cost prohibitive”.
I am being relocated to the AI weapons division, which has fast become Syren Industries’ central focus.
On one hand, shuttering the Hyper Cycle project comes as a disappointment—on the other, I must admit to being intrigued by the possibilities of AI weaponization.
